[origin: EP0057343A2] The device comprises a lagged expansion tank (1), open at the top and placed in an elevated position relative to the boiler to which it is connected. A heating tube (10) is provided within the tank for the production of hot water, which will be distributed to the sanitary installations, while the said tank (1) is connected to the radiators in a manner such that the water contained in the said heating tube is heated by contact with that in the tank (1), which is drawn from the boiler by natural circulation. The production of hot water consequently has priority over the water provided for distribution to the radiators. The heating tube retains the heat longer; there is no steam present in the radiators; any possibility of deflagration is eliminated (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
