An electric contact for sheet cables (30) is formed with a rod terminated by two semi-cylindrical branches (3, 4) which are provided each with a point (6, 7) to penetrate the insulating material (33). The branches (3, 4) surround a central recess, having substantially a cylindrical shape, delimiting between the branches (3, 4) two diametrally opposite longitudinal slots (14) for receiving the conductor (31).
