[origin: WO8200583A1] Mammary prosthesis made by a cast form to be inserted or arranged in a brassiere, made of silicone rubber cross-linked with a hardener, elastic, soft, porous, adhesive, skin coloured, which comprises in particular a central part surrounded by an outer part, the convex outer surface of which is shaped like a breast with nipple and areola, and the inner concave surface of which is curved without affecting the wall thickness of the desired breast shape of the prosthesis and is hollowed in the protruding portion in order to reduce the wall thickness of the prosthesis. In order to limit the deformation under compression of the prosthesis to that of a natural breast resulting from external pressure affects, while taking into account as precisily as possible the elasto-mechanical behaviour of the prosthesis as compared with a natural breast, and mainly in order to achieve an even weight distribution which also allows for a natural sag of the breast, the central part of the prosthesis (1) is filled, in the protruding portion comprising a hellow part, with a pasty mixture of silicone jelly and vulcanized silicone crumbles (silicone granules) and closed by a flexible protective layer (8) made of silicone rubber with hardener, which is welded to the edge of the hollow part. In the process for the manufacture of such a prosthesis, the nipple and the areola, the wall of the central part (1) with edge (5) and the extension (6), the filling mass (9) of the central part (1) and the protective layer (8) are obtained one after the other by casting, respectively filling-in with a mixture of silicone rubber and hardener or silicone jelly and silicone crumbles.

Prothese mammaire constituee par une forme coulee, destinee a etre posee ou introduite dans un soutien-gorge, en caoutchouc au silicone reticule avec durcisseur, elastique, mou, poreux, adherant, de la couleur de la peau, qui se compose en particulier d'une partie centrale entouree d'un bord, dont la surface exterieure couvexe presente la forme d'un sein avec mamelon et areole et dont la paroi interieure concave est galbee sans porter atteinte a l'epaisseur de la paroi de la forme de sein souhaitee de la prothese et est creusee dans la zone arrondie afin de diminuer l'epaisseur de la paroi de la prothese. Pour limiter la deformation de la prothese a celui d'un sein naturel, cause par des effets de pression en tenant compte au mieux du comportement elasto-mecanique de la prothese en comparaison d'un sein naturel et pour atteindre avant tout une repartition de poids egale qui permet entre autre l'affaissement naturel du sein, la partie centrale de la prothese (1) est remplie dans la zone arrondie comportant un creux avec un melange (9) pateux de gelee de silicone et de miettes de silicone vulcanisees (granule de silicone) et fermee par une couche (8) de protection souple en caoutchouc au silicone avec durcisseur soudee au bord du creux. Dans le procede de fabrication d'une telle prothese, on confectionne par coulage, respectivement remplissage avec un melange de caoutchouc au silicone et durcisseur ou gelee de silicone et miettes de silicone, l'areole avec mamelon, la paroi de la partie centrale (1) avec bord (5) et prolongement (6), la masse de remplissage (9) de la partie centrale (1) et la couche de protection (8) l'une apres l'autre.
