1. Tensioning machine for lengths of textile material (2, 2'), comprising a material inlet part (3, 3') and a material outlet part (5) and two continuously moving tensioning chains (7), in which a feed roller (8, 8') and rollers (10, 10', 11, 11') for straightening distorsions in the length of material are provided before the tensioning chains (7) - viewed in the direction in which the length of material is being conveyed - in the material inlet part (3, 3'), characterised in that a complete material straightening system (9, 9') is arranged in the material inlet part (3, 3') before the feed roller (8, 8') which is of undivided construction, the said material straightening system (9, 9') contains a concavely-convexly adjustable curve straightening roller (10, 10'), two diagonal straightening rollers (11, 12; 11', 12') which are arranged after the said curve straightening roller in the direction (6) in which the material is being conveyed and are pivotable in opposite directions, and a warp thread measuring arrangement (13, 13') which is provided in the region between these straightening rollers and the feed roller, and a control arrangement which is connected on the one hand to the three straightening rollers (10, 11, 12; 10', 11', 12') and on the other hand to the warp thread measuring arrangement (13, 13') for control purposes is associated with the straightening system (9, 9').

Bei einer Spannmaschine für textile Warenbahnen mit zwei endlos umlaufenden Spannketten sind im Warenbahneinlaufteil (3) vor den Spannketten eine Einzugswalze (8) sowie Walzen zum Ausrichten von Warenbahnverzügen vorgesehen. Um eine besonders raumsparende und dabei relativ einfach aufgebaute Ausführung insbesondere des Warenbahneinlaufteiles (3) zu erhalten, ist im Warenbahneinlaufteil (3) vor der ungeteilt ausgebildeten Einzugswalze (8) eine komplette Warenbahn-Ausrichtvorrichtung (9) angeordnet, die eine konkav-konvex verstellbare Bogenrichtwalze (10), zwei entgegengesetzt verstellbare Diagonalrichtwalzen (11, 12) sowie eine zwischen diesen Richtwalzen und der Einzugswalze vorgesehene Schußfaden-Meßeinrichtung (13) enthält.
