Connector box manufactured from synthetic material for being fitted with electrical connector contacts which respectively are inserted into chambers (8, 9) inside the box (1) where engaging means and anchoring faces for preventing withdrawal of the contacts are provided inside chambers and where a flap (10) carrying webs (12) which protrude into the box to serve as anchoring faces is provided on the box wall (5) and attached to the box (1) by means of a flexible hinge (11) and can be retainably engaged by the box wall, characterized in that the rear free end of the flap (10) carries latching elements (19) an the hinged end of the flap (10) is provided with abutments (15) which interact with corresponding latching elements (21) or resting faces in the wall (5 or 5a respectively).
