The invention relates to an apparatus for cutting peeled tubers, such as potatoes, and leaf vegetables, in particular cabbages. At least one fixed knife blade is arranged in a vertical pipe, each potato being pressed onto this knife blade by a vertical ram. In order to centre the potato, a resilient membrane (12) is fixed close to and above the knife blade(s) (9), and is slit in such a way that it forms three or more freely projecting tongues (13) whose free ends terminate approximately at the central point of the membrane. Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Teilen von geschälten Knollenfrüchten, wie Kartoffeln, und Blattgemüse, insbesondere Kohlköpfen. In einem senkrechten Rohr ist mindestens eine feststehende Messerschneide angeordnet, auf die jede Kartoffel durch einen senkrechten Stößel gedrückt wird. Für eine Zentrierung der Kartoffel ist eine elastische Membran (12) nahe oberhalb der Messerschneide(n) (9) befestigt, die derart geschlitzt ist, daß sie drei oder mehr freikragende Zungen (13) bildet, deren freie Enden etwa am Membranmittelpunkt enden. Die die Rohrachse schneidenden Schneiden (9) sind zum Rohrmittelpunkt hin nach unten abfallend geneigt.
