1. Electrical connector of the type comprising a male member (2) mounted at one end of a first coaxial conductor (4) comprising an internal conductor (5) and an external conductor (9), and a female member (6) mounted at one end of a second coaxial conductor (8) comprising an inner conductor and an outer conductor (35), the male member comprising a first electrically-connecting body (12), electrically connected to the external conductor (9) of the first coaxial conductor (4), and the female member (6) comprising a second electrically-connecting body (14), electrically connected to the external conductor (35) of the second coaxial conductor (8), the second electrically-conducting body (14) being adapted to cooperate with the first electrically-conducting body (12) and comprising a first flexible conductive skirt (16) adapted to fit around one end (20) of the first electrically conductive body (12), said end (20) having substantially annular form, characterised in that the second electrically-connecting body (14) additionally comprises a second flexible conductive skirt (18) adapted to fit inside the end (20) of the body (12) and in contact therewith, the second skirt (18) being electrically connected to the first skirt (16), the contact surface between the second flexible skirt (18) and the end (20) of body (12) being less than the contact surface between the first flexible skirt (16) and said end (20), the contact resistance between the second skirt (18) and the body (12) thereby being distinctly greater than the contact resistance between it and the first skirt (16), the second skirt (18) having a length sufficient to provide a screen against parasitic currents created at the interface between the first skirt (16) and the end (20) of the first electrically-connecting body (12).

La présente invention a pour objet un connecteur électrique étanche et télémanipulable. La partie mâle (2) comprend un premier corps de liaison électrique (12) coopérant avec un deuxième corps de liaison (14) solidaire de la partie femelle (61) ce dernier comportant deux jupes concentriques (16, 18) entre lesquelles vient se placer une extrémité (20) du corps (12), la surface de contact entre l'extrémité (20) du corps (12) et la jupe extérieure (16) étant plus grande qu'entre ladite extrémité (20) et la jupe intérieure (18). Application aux connexions électriques en atmosphère corrosive ou radioactive.
