[origin: US4427612A] A fleece is employed for the distribution of casting resin over a component surface to be sealed. Prior to the introduction of the casting resin, pressure is applied on the fleece with a heated stamp in order to smoothen the fleece. Through increased temperature of the stamp, or through a solvent, the fleece can be readily cemented together with the component surface. It is thus ensured that the fleece rests uniformly on the entire component surface to promote a favorable distribution of the casting resin.

Bei Verwendung eines Vlieses (7) zur Verteilung von Gießharz über eine abzudichtende Bauteiloberfläche wird vor dem Einbringen des Gießharzes mit einem erwärmten Stempel (9) auf das Vlies (7) gedrückt, um dieses zu glätten. Durch erhöhte Temperatur des Stempels (9) oder durch Lösungsmittel kann dabei das Vlies (7) leicht mit der Bauteiloberfläche (2, 3) verklebt werden. Damit wird sichergestellt, daß das Vlies (7) gleichmäßig an der gesamten Bauteiloberfläche anliegt und das Gießharz verteilt.
