Abstract (en)

[origin: US4520898A] A folding guard rail has two pairs of opposed sides. The rail can occupy two positions; a first position in which the rails extend upwardly from the horizontal surface of a platform surrounded by the rail, and a second position in which the rail is folded over the platform and the sides extend downwardly. A key is provided to immobilize the rail in both of its positions.
