Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0059320A2] The coke oven doors 4, having a weight of up to 10 tons and more, are released from the seat by a door-lifting machine 10 and, after completion of the pushing process, re-inserted accurately. During the movement in the direction of the oven axis, the door-lifting machine 10 is aligned, automatically and fitting with the oven, on locking hooks 40, 41 projecting on both sides of the oven opening 3 and on the guide lug 75 located above the door head 2, so that the coking plate 5 moves precisely into the centre of the door opening. The door-lifting machine 10 consists of a swivel frame 12 and a hinged frame 11 in a floating mount bearing. As a result, the parts carrying the coke oven door 4 can align themselves with the locking hooks 40, 41 and on the guide lug 75. The centering frame 17, 18 either has centering studs 55, 56, which are introduced between the locking hooks 40, 41, or a centering rod 76, which is introduced into the guide slot 89 of the guide lug 75. The movements in the direction of the oven axis are cushioned via a spring box 62 with a spring 64. When the coke oven door is taken out, it is held fixed in the particular position by the lifter 8 formed as a clamping device 80, 81, and swivelled out. <IMAGE>
