[origin: EP0059358A2] In a printing station having a printer (28) and a single-sheet feeder (30) arranged on the printer (28), an approximately table-high body (10) with sound-proofing walls is provided as the sound-proofing apparatus. The printer (28) is supported by a support device (26), by means of which it can be moved on the one hand into a position at the bottom of the body (10) for automatic operation and, on the other hand, into a table-high position or any desired intermediate position for operating and servicing work. The printing station can be constructed as a floor cabinet or with a table-high worktop. In this case, the support device (26) can be raised and lowered in an insert (22) which can be moved out of the body (10). The support device (26) can also only be raiseable and lowerable in the body (10), its upper covering wall (16) being constructed as a swivel lid. <IMAGE>
