[origin: ES8302583A1] The present machine is intended for the printing of selected characters on labels borne by a continuous tape (13) passing over a print table (11) and driven by a chassis (22) imparted a reciprocating movement by the operating of a trigger. In order to prevent the strip of labels from being pulled towards the outside at the time of the pulling off of the label said machine has a hand brake (28, 30) located in front of the print table. This brake comprises a pivoting brake shoe (28) which is placed out of operation during the transport stroke of the continuous strip (13) by an interceptor (32) which is fastened to the transport chassis (22). This arrangement is established in order to permit a precise and effective braking action without requiring recourse to tolerances which are incompatible with mass production.

La machine est destinée à l'impression de caractères choisis sur des étiquettes portées par une bande continue (13) passant sur une table d'impression (11) et entraînée par un châssis (22) animé d'un mouvement de va-et-vient par le maniement d'une gâchette. Afin d'éviter que la bande d'étiquettes ne soit tirée vers l'extérieur au moment de l'arrachage d'une étiquette cette machine comporte un frein de bande (28, 30) situé en avant de la table d'impression. Ce frein comporte un sabot de freinage pivotant (28) mis hors service pendant la course de transport de la bande continue (13) par un intercepteur (32) fixé au châssis de transport (22). Cet agencement est établi pour permettre une action de freinage précise et efficace sans nécessiter le recours à des tolérances incompatibles avec une fabrication en série.
