[origin: WO8200943A1] Improved method of embedding microorganisms and their biologically active chemical products in microbeads. Also, an improved microbial insecticide composition, and methods for the production and utilization thereof, are disclosed. The disclosed composition comprises microorganisms of viral, bacterial, or fungal origin and their biologically active chemical products embedded in a coacervate microbead which is comprised of a nucleic acid, typically RNA, and a proteinaceous material. The microbead structure itself typically shields the microorganisms and chemical products from sunlight-induced inactivation, and the microbead is typically stabilized by chemical crosslinking.

Un procede ameliore consiste a noyer des micro-organismes et leurs produits chimiques biologiquement actifs dans des micro-perles. Une composition amelioree d'un insecticide microbien, ainsi que ses procedes de production et d'utilisation sont decrits. La composition comprend des micro-organismes d'origine virale, bacterienne ou fongique et leurs produits chimiques biologiquement actifs noyes dans une micro-perle agglomeree qui comprend un acide nucleique, d'une maniere caracteristique l'acide ribonucleique (ARN), et un materiau proteinique. La structure de micro-perle protege elle-meme les microorganismes et les produits chimiques contre l'inactivation induite par la lumiere solaire, et la micro-perle se stabilise par reticulation chimique.
