Abstract (en)

The roller body consists of annular discs (3 or 5) lined up on an axle (1) and consisting of porous material. The material of the roller body is compressed by uniform axial compression applied from the end faces. Since, before the compression, a larger volume of material is provided in the region near the axle than in the region distant from the axle, during compression there is a higher material density in the region near the axle than in the region distant from the axle. A squeezing roller constructed in this way has not only good wiping-off and squeezing properties with regard to the fluid, but also a long service life. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Abstreif- oder Quetschwalze zum Entfernen von auf bzw. in Körpern, z.B. Warenbahnen, befindlicher Flüssigkeit. Der Walzenkörper besteht aus auf einer Achse (1) aufgereihten und aus porösem Material bestehenden Ringscheiben (3 bzw. 5). Durch von den Stirnseiten aufgebrachte, gleichmäßige, axiale Kompression wird das Material des Walzenkörpers verdichtet. Da vor der Kompression im achsnahen Bereich ein größeres Materialvolumen als im achsfernen Bereich vorgesehen ist, ergibt sich bei der Kompression eine größere Materialdichte im achsnahen Bereich als im achsfernen Bereich. Eine derart aufgebaute Quetschwalze hat nicht nur gute Abstreif- und Quetscheigenschaften in Bezug auf die Flüssigkeit, sondern auch eine lange Standzeit.
