A terminal for the connection of electrical conductors has a frame with a U-shaped first section (12) and a second section (32) which bridges over the ends of the limbs of the first section and has a threaded hole (35) into which a terminal screw (40) is screwed. The limbs of the first section have slots (24, 26) reaching in up to the semicircular base (18) of the U, which are used for guiding a pressure stirrup (50) in a manner such that the pressure stirrup has lateral projections (58, 60) which engage in the slots. By means of the design of the frame, connecting lines having different cross-sections can be used. <IMAGE>

Eine Klemme zum Anklemmen von elektrischen Leitungen besitzt einen Rahmen mit einem U-förmigen ersten Abschnitt (12) und einem Zweiten Abschnitt (32), der die Schenkelenden des ersten Abschnittes überbrückt und ein Gewindeloch (35) zum Einschrauben einer Klemmschraube (40) aufweist. Die Schenkel des ersten Abschnittes besitzen bis zum halbkreisförmigen Grund (18) des U hineinreichende Schlitze (24, 26), die der Führung eines Druckbügels (50) derart dienen, daß der Druckbügel seitliche Fortsätze (58) 60) aufweist, die in die Schlitze eingreifen. Durch die Ausgestaltung des Rahmens können Anschlußleitungen mit unterschiedlichen Querschnitten eingesetzt werden.
