Abstract (en)
1. Expanding grinder for grinding machine comprising at least one abrasive ring 10 which is elastic and deformable, for example diamond-charged, internally fluted, and which is mounted on a body or mandrel 1, the latter comprising a central bore 2 in which an expansion cone 3 is mounted to move axially, said cone being adapted to deform the ring via pusher element 18 movable radially in the body 1, characterized in that the pusher elements 18 are in abutment against inner male flutes 11b of the ring 10, in that the expansion cone 3 is maintained at intervals in the axis of the body 1 by centering means 4 disposed in mortises 5 made on the periphery of the cone, and in that the ring 10 comprises outer flutes 13-14 distributed uniformly on its periphery, the outer female flutes 13 being disposed opposite the inner males flutes 11a and being sufficiently deep for the wall existing between an outer female flute 13 and an inner male flute 11a to be sufficiently thin to give the ring the suppleness necessary for its expansion.

Rodoir expansible pour machine à roder comprenant au moins une bague abrasive élastique et déformable, par exemple diamantée, cannelée intérieurement, et qui est montée sur un corps ou mandrin (1), ce dernier comportant un alésage central (2) dans lequel est monté mobile axialement un cône d'expansion (3) propre à déformer la bague par l'intermédiaire de poussoirs (18) mobiles radialement dans le corps (1); les poussoirs (18) sont en appui contre des cannelures intérieures mâles (11b) de la bague (10) et cette bague comporte, en outre, des cannelures extérieures (13-14).
