[origin: EP0060200A2] Method of manufacturing a cardboard box, especially one of the biscuits box kind, consisting of a belt forming its side walls, and a bottom comprising a main board suitable for forming the actual bottom of the box and adjacent foldable boards suitable for forming flaps which externally line said side walls over at least part of their height, the method being characterised in that it consists, on a fully automatic machine, in winding said belt around a punch (simultaneously folding it at the corners) and in moulding said bottom around this punch with its belt; securing operations being performed at suitable moments and locations to fix the belt to the bottom.
