Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0060333A1] 1. A connection device having an approximately plate- or strip-shaped basic body (1) which consists of an insulating material and which between opposite sides (2, 3), defining connection planes, is penetrated by openings (4), into which contact elements (5) can be inserted which, on one side (2) of the basic body (1), in each case have at least one forked contact section (10) which is connected by means of a strip-shaped connecting section (9) which runs parallel to the connection planes, to a further contact section of the contact element (5) and which is transversely staggered in relation to the further contact section, by way of the connecting section (9), and wherein at the side of the forked contact sections (10), the basic body (1) has extensions (11) of the openings (4) to receive the connecting sections (9) and forked contact sections (10) in precisely fitting manner, characterised in that the forked contacts (6) of the forked contact sections (10), which are in the form of flat components having two limbs which lie in one plane, are bent out of the plane of the strip-shaped connecting sections (9), which have the width of the strip arranged parallel to the connection planes, through 90 degrees ; and that the planes of the limbs of the individual forked contacts (6) are designed to be rotatable by means of a torsion rod (13) arranged between the respective forked contact (6) and the respective connecting section (9), about the axis of the torsion rod.
