1. Mounting arrangement for electric cooking plates (11, 11c) with a cooking plate body (12) and a sheet metal support ring (17, 17c) surrounding and projecting radially beyond said body (12) and which with its radially inner part (18, 18c) engages on the cooking plate body (12), covers the space between the inner edge (24) of a mounting opening (23) of a glass or ceramic material mounting plate (22) and in the vicinity of its outer edge (21, 21c) is supported against the same and with an elastic gasket (26, 26c) interposed between support ring (17, 17c) and mounting plate (22), characterized by a mounting ring (31, 31a-f), which is completely covered by a one-piece support ring (17, 17c) and having a substantially circular shielding portion (32, 32c-f) covering the inner edge (24) of mounting opening (23) and means (34, 34b, c, f) for positioning the gasket (26, 26c) in a position such that its sealing area (29) acting between mounting plate (22) and support ring (17, 17c) is close to the outer periphery of support ring (17, 17c).

Zum Einbau von Elektrokochplatten (11) in Einbauplatten (22) aus Glas- oder Keramikmaterial wird ein relativ breiter und flacher Tragring (17) aus rostfreiem Stahlblech verwendet, der den Kochplattenkörper (12) umgibt und den relativ großen Spalt zwischen dem Rand (24) der Einbauöffnung (23) und dem Kochplattenkörper (12) überdeckt. Der Tragring (17) liegt an seinem Außenumfang auf einem elastischen Dichtring (26) auf, der von einem Einbauring (31) in seiner Position gehalten wird. Der Einbauring überdeckt mit einem Abschirmungsabschnitt (32) den Innenrand (24) der Einbauplatte (22) und schirmt ihn sowie gegebenenfalls die Dichtung (26) gegen Strahlungswärme von der Kochplatte (11) ab.
