[origin: EP0062031A2] The show stand 1 has a vertical central column 2 which is arranged rotatably on a plinth 3, is, in particular, hexagonal or octagonal in cross-section and on which receiving pockets or brackets 5, whose rear walls 8 are inclined, are attached in spiral arrangement by their sides, the narrow sides, facing the central column 2, for which purpose struts, which are provided in particular on these sides and connect the front upwardly inclined base 7 of the receiving pockets or brackets 5 to the rear wall 8, or attachment flanges, which project rearwards or downwards from the rear wall 8 and from the base 7, are used; a hook-in connection is also possible, hooks being provided laterally on the rear wall 8 and the base 7 and hook-in slots being provided on the central column 2. In the case of a cylindrical central column 2, the rear wall 8 and the base 7 are cut out elliptically in adaptation to the cylindrical outer surface of the central column.
