[origin: WO8201385A1] The ring spinning frame comprises a main structure (1) which supports a box frame (11) on which disc-shaped magazines (14) may be detachably and loosely placed in a row. These magazines have on their underside a multiplicity of suspension devices (16) for attaching the bobbins (10). The frame (11) also serves as a rail configuration for a carriage (15) capable, by means of appropriate lifting devices (17, 18), during its travel from one end of the spinning frame to the other, to pick up at least one disc-shaped magazine (14) with empty bobbins (10) and to deposit at that place a disc-shaped magazine (14) with full bobbins (10). These measures enable the change of bobbins on the spinning frame to be fully automated.
