[origin: US4483173A] Process and device for the automatic regulation of the push rods of a press by means of a self-locking rod jack. The device comprises a table, a matrix, a blank holder, a main slide, a punch and a blank holder slide. Each of the push rods comprises a jack rod mounted on the blank holder slide. The jack is equipped with an automatically lockable and unlockable device for regulating the length by sensing. At their lower end, in each case the rods have means for the high-speed locking to the blank holder.

Le dispositif comporte une table (4), une matrice (14), un serre-flan (20), un coulisseau principal (6), un poinçon (16), un coulisseau de serre-flan (8). Il se caractérise en ce que chacun des poussoirs est constitué par la tige (24) d'un vérin (26) monté sur le coulisseau de serre-flan (8), ce vérin (26) étant muni d'un dispositif (28) de réglage de longueur par palpage, blocable, et déblocable automatiquement. Les tiges (24), à leur extrémité inférieure (24a), comportant des moyens de verrouillage rapide sur le serre-flan (20).
