[origin: WO8203643A1] An electric iron (1a) is provided with an ironing plate (2a) which is exposed to a hot air mouth (4a) of an air dryer (3a). The ironing plate (2a) is connected by means of a connection device (8) to the air dryer (3a). This connection is readily dismountable. In an example of execution, a reflecting plate (42) is provided on top of the ironing plate (2a). This reflecting plate (42) has underneath of the mouth (23) of the air dryer (3) an opening (43) for the hot air stream (50. The hot air stream comes out through a slot (46) between the ironing plate (2a) and the reflecting plate (42) towards the edge (48) of the ironing plate (2a).

Ein elektrisches Bügeleisen (1a) verfügt über eine Bügelplatte (2a), die dem aus der Warmluft-Düse (4a) entweichenden Warmluftstrom (5) eines Haartrockners (3a) ausgesetzt ist. Die Bügelplatte (2a) ist über eine Verbindungseinrichtung (8) leicht lösbar mit dem Haartrockner (3a) verbunden. Bei einem Ausführungsbeispiel ist oberhalb der Bügelplatte (2a) eine Reflexionsplatte (42) angeordnet, die unterhalb der Düsenmündung (23) des Haartrockners (3) eine Öffnung (43) für den Warmluftstrom (5) aufweist. Der Warmluftstrom (5) gelangt über einen Spalt (46) zwischen der Bügelplatte (2a) und der Reflexionsplatte (42) zum Rand (48) der Bügelplatte (2a).
