[origin: WO8102142A1] The wagon with a lowered platform (1, 1a) has a loading platform which may be pivoted outside the train access and relatively with respect to the bogies, thus allowing the loading and unloading thereof. The ends of the platform may be connected to a loading and unloading ramp. The bogies (2, 3) are connected to a lowered bridge (10, 10a) which is provided with a bottom acting as a loading surface and having a height lower than that of the support surface (7) of each bogie (2, 3). The support surface (7) of each bogie (2, 3) comprises curved guiding rails (22, 22a) on which may run guiding means (23, 23a) provided on the end portions (14, 14a, 15, 15a, 16, 16a) of the bridge (10, 10a). A circular rack (24, 24a) is arranged in the support surface (7) of the frames (6) of the bogies, cooperating with a pinion (37) of a gear drive (25, 25a) provided on each end of the lowered bridge (10, 10a).

Le wagon a plateforme surbaissee (1, 1a) comprend une plateforme de chargement pouvant etre pivotee hors de l'axe du train et relativement par rapport aux bogies, ce qui permet de la charger et la decharger. Les extremites de la plateforme peuvent etre reliees a une rampe de chargement et de dechargement. Les bogies (2, 3) se joignent a un pont surbaisse (10, 10a) qui est muni d'un fond servant de surface de chargement et de hauteur inferieure a celle de la surface d'appui (7) de chaque bogie (2, 3). La surface d'appui (7) de chaque bogie (2, 3) comprend des rails de guidage courbes (22, 22a) sur lequels peuvent rouler des moyens de guidage (23, 23a) prevus sur les parties d'extremites (14, 14a, 15, 15a, 16, 16a) du pont (10, 10a). Une cremaillere circulaire (24, 24a) est disposee dans la surface d'appui (7) des batis (6) des bogies, qui coopere avec un pignon (37) d'un entrainement par engrenage (25, 25a) situe sur chaque extremite du pont surbaisse (10, 10a).
