Typenbanddrucker mit einer in der Ebene zwischen Papier (13) und Farbband (15) angeordneten elastischen Trennplatte (21) zur Separierung des Papiers (13) vom Farbband (15), insbesondere während der Zeit des Papier- bzw. Farbbandvorschubes. Die Trennplatte (21) ist unterhalb des Druckwiderlagers (10) befestigt, ihre obere Kante verläuft unmittelbar angrenzend an die Druckzeile, und sie drückt das Papier (13) vom Farbband (15) hinweg gegen die Hammerplatte (19).
