[origin: DE3118639A1] The invention relates to lids which consist of aluminium alloys or iron material, such as tin plate or tin-free steel, having at least one punched-out pouring hole and, if appropriate, at least one air hole, said holes being covered by a tear-off closure strip which is attached by hot sealing. On the inner side of the lids, the region of the holes (2) is pretreated with a primer and provided thereon with a plastisol coating (10), as a result of which the cut edges (3) of the holes are protected from attack by the contents of the can. <IMAGE>
