[origin: EP0065053A1] 1. A water-or steam-developable diazotype material comprising a support carrying a precoat and an overlaying layer of a) a light-sensitive two component diazotype layer containing a light-sensitive diazo compound, a coupling component capable of coupling with said diazo compound to form a dyestuff, and - a non-migrating acid as a stabilizing agent, b) at least a two-component developing system layer coated on the light-sensitive layer or at the backside of the support, one of the components being a heat stable ammonium or amine salt, the other being an alkaline metal salt, and - waxes melting during the development and acting as vehicles to promote said development, - binders for each components of the developing system, and possibly, - developing accelerators, inclusion compounds retaining an acid and plasticizers, the light-sensitive layer being coated in the form of an aqueous layer, whereas the uppermost developing layer is coated in the form of an organic solvent layer, characterized in that the non-migrating acid stabilizing the light-sensitive layer against pre-coupling, is selected from the group consisting of a sulfamic acid N-substituted by an aliphatic radical having at least 6 carbon atoms, a polyacid derivative monosalified by an amine having 4 to 12 carbon atoms, or a symmetrical or assymmetrical salt of one or several polyacids monosalified by a diamine or polyamine.
