1. Multi-purpose incinerator (1) of the type comprising a vertical combution chamber (2) equipped with a grate (3) in its lower part, a lock chamber (4) for loading solid wastes, a smoke-exhaust pipe (5) situated at the upper part and at least one burner, said combustion chamber comprising two metallic tanks (6, 8) defining a ringshaped space (9) through which fresh air is circulated, characterized in that said incinerator comprises, in its lower part, a caisson (10) in which a blower (11) blows fresh air and said ring-shaped space (9) communicating, by its lower end, with said caisson (10) and by its upper end, with a ringshaped air ejector (13) surrounding the front end of said smoke-exhaust pipe (5) by creating a depression inside said combustion chamber.

Un incinérateur (1) selon l'invention comporte une chambre de combustion verticale (2) éuipée d'une grille (3), d'un conduit de fumées (5), d'un brûleur (14) pouvant recevoir des effluents liquides et d'un sas (4) pour introduire des déchets solides. La chambre de combustion comporte deux cuves coaxiales (6, 8) qui délimitent un espace intermédiaire (9). Un ventilateur (11) souffle de l'air dans un caisson (10). Une partie de cet air alimente le brûleur (14) et l'autre partie circule dans l'espace (9) et passe à travers un éjecteur à air (13) qui aspire les fumées. Une application est la destruction des déchets solides et liquides à bord d'un navire.
