Abstract (en)
A cylinder lock having a generally cylindrical barrel (10) with a barrel body (12) within which are slidably located a plurality of locking pins (17) which intersect the keyway (15) in the cylinder lock to thereby engage a key located in the keyway (15). The locking pins (17) are arranged in two sets which extend generally longitudinally of the body (12) with the locking pins (17) secured within the body (12) to prevent rotation about the axis of movement of the pins (17).
