The invention relates to a water-walking apparatus consisting of a pair of floating units each formed from a rigid frame equipped with at least one float and from a platform provided with submersible means for holding the user's foot which do not hamper the vertical movement of the heel relative to the sole of the foot and which comprise an instant-release safety element. The means (4) for holding the foot consist of a stop (5) having the shape of a slipper front portion, adapted to receive the front of the foot, and of a flexible and/or elastic rear holding element (6) adapted to the contours of the heel. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un ensemble permettant de marcher sur l'eau, constitué d'une paire d'unités flottantes formées chacune d'une armature rigide munie d'au moins un flotteur et d'une plateforme pourvue de moyens immergeables de retenue du pied de l'utilisateur qui n'entravent pas le déplacement vertical du talon par rapport à la plante du pied et qui comportent un organe de sécurité à ouverture instantanée. Les moyens de retenue (4) du pied sont constitué d'une butée (5) revêtant la forme d'une portion avant de chausson adaptée à recevoir l'avant du pied et d'un organe de retenue arrière (6) souple et/ou élastique, adapté à contourner le talon.
