The side-loading fork-lift truck has a load-lifting fork (9) which can be extended vertically and horizontally via a lifting device. Allocated to the load-lifting fork is a supporting frame for at least one suction cup (22) which in turn is movable horizontally and vertically relative to the load-lifting fork. This configuration enables the load fork itself to be used as a rest for a stack (30) consisting, for example, of large plates which can be lifted individually from various initial stacks and can be combined to form a new stack on the load-lifting fork. This commissioned stack can then be transported, for example, to a packing station. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Quergabelstapler beschrieben, der eine über eine Hubeinrichtung vertikal und horizontal ausfahrbare Lastaufnahmegabel (9) besitzt. Der Lastaufnahmegabel ist ein Tragrahmen für mindestens einen Saugnapf (22) zugeordnet, der seinerseits horizontal und vertikal gegenüber der Lastaufnahmegabel verfahrbar ist. Diese Ausgestaltung ermöglicht es, die Lastgabel selbst als Ablage für einen Stapel (30) zu verwenden, der beispielsweise aus großflächigen Platten besteht, die von verschiedenen Ausgangsstapeln aus einzeln abgehoben und zu einem neuen Stapel auf der Lastaufnahmegabel zusammengestellt werden können. Dieser kommissionierte Stapel kann dann beispielsweise zu einer Verpackungsstation transportiert werden.
