[origin: EP0066542A2] 1. Chimney for fireplace comprising at least two first cast iron plates (1, 1a) one of which (1) forms the base of the fireplace and the other one (1a) forms a wall of the fireplace, these first plates (1, 1a), comprising on their rear face removed from the fire groovings (2, 3), a fluid circuit comprising at least one serpentine engaged and maintained in these groovings (2, 3) by second plates (4, 4a) fixed against rear faces of the first plates (1, 1a), characterised in that the said second plates (4, 4a) are made of cast iron plates provided on their rear face removed from the fire with nervures (5) against which sheet-iron plates (6, 8) are applied so as to delimitate the air circuit.
