Device for articulating a pivoting leaf (1), especially of a door or window, to an adjoining component (2), for example a stationary housing, with two spindles (6, 11) extending with spacing parallel to one another through a connecting element (4) pierced by them, of which spindles the one is allocated to the adjoining component (2) and the other to the pivoting leaf (1) and on the latter there is provided a stop face (31) protruding from its pivot spindle (11) parallel thereto and in approximately radial direction, which in one end position of the pivoting leaf (1) rests on a stop face (28) on the spindle (6) of the adjoining component (2), characterised in that the stop faces (28, 31) are arranged on hinge flaps (7, 8) and these are allocated to the connecting element (4) which is formed as block strap with apertures (10, 13) receiving the spindle (6, 11) while the stop face (31) of the pivoting leaf (1) protrudes from its pivot spindle (11).
