A fuel injection nozzle consists of a nozzle body (1) exhibiting spray openings (4) and of a movably arranged nozzle needle (13) which controls the spray openings (4) and which exhibits a sealing cone which operates in conjunction with a needle seat (8) formed in the nozzle body (1), in the area of which seat the spray openings (4) begin. To avoid erosion and other wear phenomena at the transition from the needle seat (8) into the spray openings (4), particularly at points of a transition at an acute angle, it is provided that the spray openings (4) open into a recess (6), which is concentric with respect to the axis (5) of the nozzle needle (13), of the nozzle body (1). <IMAGE>

Eine Kraftstoffeinspritzdüse besteht aus einem Spritzöffnungen (4) aufweisenden Düsenkörper (1) und einer beweglich angeordneten, die Spritzöffnungen (4) steuernden Düsennadel (13), die einen Dichtkegel aufweist, der mit einem im Düsenkörper (1) ausgebildeten Nadelspitz (8) zusammenwirkt, in dessen Bereich die Spritzöffnungen (4) beginnen. Zur Vermeidung von Erosions- und sonstigen Verschleisserscheinungen am Übergang vom Nadelsitz (8) in die Spritzöffnungen (4), insbesondere an Stellen eines Überganges unter einem spitzen Winkel, ist vorgesehen, dass die Spritzöffnungen (4) in eine zur Achse (5) der Düsennadel (13) konzentrische Ausnehmung (6) des Düsenkörpers (1) münden.
