Reinforcement in the form of a plastics-coated thread lattice, characterized in that the threads (1', 1") of the reinforcing lattice are individually coated with a multiple, preferably double coating (3', 3") of thermoplastic material, an inner coating (3') being applied to the core (2) of the threads (1', 1") and an outer coating (3") being applied to the inner coating, and that the threads (1', 1") are thermowelded at least in the points of intersection by the coatings (3', 3").
