Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0067388A2] 1. Rotary cylinder lock comprising an associated key (2), especially a flat key with longitudinal slots made in its rectangular basic profile, a housing (1) especially in the form of a cock profile, an a cylindrical core (4), in which there are, transversely relative to the plane or planes passing through the tumber pins (18, 19), detent pin bores (15) of the same diameter for receiving springless detent pins (7) which are provided with heads (13) facing away from the key and which are received in counter-sinks (16) of the same depth made in the periphery (14) of the core, a cup (11) or the like being assigned in the inner wall of the housing to each of the detent-pin bores (15), and a cup (12) or the like being assigned, in the wide side of the flat key, to at least one of these detent-pin bores for the respective detent pins (7), characterised in that the detent-pin bores (15) each lie, at least on the outer periphery (14) of the core (4), in the transverse plane of a tumbler pin (18) in relation to the rotary cylinder lock, the diameters (D) of the countersinks (16) are equal to or greater than the diameters (d) of the tumbler pins (18), and there are arranged in the detent-pin bore or bores (15), to which no cups (12) are assigned in the wide side (5) of the key (2), dummy pins (24) which, when they come up against the wide side (5) of the key (2), are flush with the periphery (14) of the core (4), the heads (25) of the dummy pins (24) being made lower (h) than the heads (13) of the detent pins (7).
