1. Process for bundle-formation of prepared wrapping wires (1) whose ends (4, 5) are shaped to lock together on, for example, baled goods, and which are threaded and held side by side on guide means (11, 12) transverse to the longitudinal axis of the wrapping wire (1), in which a bundle is formed by rolling or folding the continuous guide means (11, 12) or by arranging separate sections of the guide means (11, 12) on top or alongside each other, characterized in that the prepared wire (1), which is cut to length, is fed via draw-in rollers (2) to the bending tool (6) of a bending machine and that each wire end is formed into an eye by turning around a hollow bending mandrel, that a cord-like guide means (11, 12) is passed from a take-off reel (13, 14) through each hollow bending mandrel, that the bent wire (1) is pushed by mandrel strippers (24, 25) from the bending mandrels (7, 8) onto the cord-like guide means, and that the guide means with the threaded wires are formed into a bundle in a known manner.

Bei einem Vefahren und einer Vorrichtung zur Bündelbildung vorgefertigter Umreifungsdrähte (3) werden diese auf Führungsmittlen (11, 12; 15, 16) quer zu ihrer Längsachse befestigt. Diese Befestigung kann durch Kleben erfolgen, sie kann aber auch dadurch erfolgen, daß als Führungsmittel (11, 12) Draht dient, der durch Ösen an den Enden der Umreifungsdrähte (3) gezogen ist, wobei diese Ösen ohnehin zum Zwecke der Verschlußbildung gebraucht werden. Die Vorrichtung ist besonders vorteilhaft gestaltet, wenn die als Führungsmittel (11, 12) dienenden Drähte entsprechend der Fig. 1 von den Vorratsstollen (13, 14) abgewickelt und durch den hohlen Biegedorn der Biegevorrichtung für die Ösen geführt werden. Die auf die Führungsmittel (11, 12; 15, 16) aufgereihten Umreifungsdrähte (3) können zu einem Bund (21) gerollt oder gefaltet werden.
