Metallised textile polar articles with metal-layer thicknesses of 0.02 to 1 mu m possess not only a high screen attenuation, but also reduced reflection of microwaves and are therefore suitable for areas of radiation protection, for suppressing undesirable radar reflections, for camouflaging objects against radar detection and for protecting objects against electromagnetic fields.

Metallisierte textile Polwaren mit Metallschichtdicken von 0,02 bis 1 µm besitzen neben einer hohen Schirmdämpfung eine verminderte Reflexion von Mikrowellen und eignen sich daher für Bereiche des Strahlenschutzes, zur Unterdrückung unerwünschter Radarreflexionen, zur Tarnung von Objekten gegen Radarerkennung sowie zum Schutz von Objekten gegenüber elektromagnetischen Feldern.
