1. Continuous steel casting plant with an exchangeable stage, into which a chill mould (12) and a first part (21) of the arcuate billet guide are built and which is exchangeably arranged on a cross beam (2), and with billet guide frames (26), which carry downstream roller guide elements and are mounted at the underside of the cross-beam (2) by means of sliding guides (25, 27, 28) extending perpendicularly to the radius line (R) of the billet guide arc, characterised thereby, that the crossbeam (2) is anchored at the foundation (1) at the outside of the billet guide arc and surrounds the first part (21) of the billet guide by a fork-like part (5) and the first succeeding billet guide element (29) is guided by one side at the underside of the crossbeam (2) extending according to the radius line R of the billet guide arc.

Eine Kokille (12) und ein erster Teil (21) der bogenförmigen Strangführung sind in einem Wechselgestell (6) angeordnet. Ein weiterer Teil der Strangführung besteht aus Strangführungselementen (29, 30), die auswechselbar am bogenförmig verlaufenden Strangführungsrahmen (26) angeordnet sind. Zur Erzielung einer konstruktiv einfachen, spiel-, schwingungs- und versatzfreien Verbindung von Wechselgestell (6) und nachgeordneter Strangführung (26, 29, 30, 33) ist das Wechselgestell (6) auf einer an der Außenseite des Strangführungsbogens am Fundament (1) verankerten Traverse (2) angeordnet, die mit einem gabelartigen Teil (5) den ersten Teil (21) der Strangführung umgibt und an deren Unterseite das erste nachfolgende Strangführungselement (29) mit einer Seite geführt ist.
