[origin: US4482875A] A polarized electromagnetic relay has a switching armature inside the bobbin and mounted for movement with the armature free end extending between oppositely arranged contacts defining electrical and magnetic poles, the armature being coupled to a magnet inside the bobbin with the coil core connected to the bobbin formed of a ferromagnetic material and defining a pair of facing opposite magnetic poles constituting the opposite contacts.
