The water bed has a bed frame (10) and a water mattress (20) placed on the bed frame (10) with interposition of a heating mat (22). In order that the water bed can be varied easily and using simple parts in the design in the structure of the bed frame whilst retaining a basic unit and can be adapted to conventional beds, provision is made for the bed frame (10) to have connection surfaces (13, 14 or 27, 28) with connection elements (19) on both narrow sides and for bed frame end parts (15, 16, 17 or 23, 24 or 29, 32) of various designs to be connectable by these connection surfaces (13, 14 or 27, 28) to connection elements (18) which are of corresponding design and are distributed in a complementary fashion and which at least partially support the water mattress (20) and/or at least partially surround the longitudinal and/or narrow sides. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Wasserbett mit einem Bettgestell (10) und einer auf dem Bettgestell (10) unter Zwischenlage einer Heizmatte (22) aufgelegten Wassermatratze (20). Damit das Wasserbett im Aufbau des Bettgestelles unter Beibehaltung einer Grundeinheit leicht und mit einfachen Teilen in der Formgestaltung variiert und an herkömmliche Liegen und Betten angepaßt werden kann, ist nach der Erfindung vorgesehen, daß das Bettgestell (10) an beiden Schmalseiten Verbindungsflächen (13, 14 bzw. 27, 28) mit Verbindungselementen (19) aufweist und daß mit diesen Verbindungsflächen (13, 14 bzw. 27, 28) verschieden ausgebildete Bettgestell-Abschlußteile (15, 16, 17 bzw. 23, 24 bzw. 29, 32) mit entsprechend gestalteten und verteilten komplementären Verbindungselementen (18) verbindbar sind, weiche die Wassermatratze (20) zumindest teilweise unterstützen und/oder an den Längs- und/oder Schmalseiten zumindest teilweise umschließen.
