1. Das zum Trocknen auf dem Feld liegende, schwadenförmig geordnete Pflanzengut wird vom fahrenden Gerät mittels einer Schnittgutaufnahmevorrichtung (1) vom Boden aufgenommen und auf einer mindestens teilweise schraubenlinienförmig, räumlich gebogenen Leitfläche (2) geführt. Auf der Leitfläche (2) wird das Schnittgut hinaufgeschoben, bis es sich überschlägt und über die Abrutschsicherung (4) von der Leitfläche (2) auf den Boden ablegt. Das Gerät behandelt das Pflanzengut schonend und reduziert den Blattverlust auf ein Minimum.
