Abstract (en)
In an injection pump for injection-type internal combustion engines, in which the pump piston is rotatable about its axis for adjusting the injection volume, a bypass piston (5) is slidingly carried in a cylinder bore (4) connected to the working space of the pump piston, which bypass piston is pressed under pretension in the direction of the working space of the pump piston. The bypass piston (5) is used for influencing the time of injection and to limit its stroke, a stop (15) is provided which can be adjusted during operation whilst the return stroke or the rest position of the bypass piston (5) is determined by a stop provided on the latter and a counter stop, acting in conjunction with the former, at the part exhibiting the cylinder hole carrying the bypass piston. A compact light-weight construction of the bypass piston (5) without sealing problems and a damping of its movement is obtained by the fact that the bypass piston (5) plunges into a space (6) closed to the outside and supplied with fuel, at its end facing away from the working space of the pump piston. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Einspritzpumpe für Einspritz-Brennkraftmaschinen, bei welcher der Pumpenkolben zum Einstellen der Einspritzmenge um seine Achse verdrehbar ist, ist in einer mit dem Arbeitsraum des Pumpenkolbens in Verbindung stehenden Zylinderbohrung (4) ein Ausweichkolben (5) gleitend geführt, der unter Vorspannung in Richtung zum Arbeitsraum des Pumpenkolbens gedrückt ist. Der Ausweichkolben (5) dient zur Beeinflussung des Einspritzzeitzpunktes und zur Begrenzung seines Hubes ist ein während des Betriebes verstellbarer Anschlag (15) vorgesehen, während der Rückhub bzw. die Ruhelage des Ausweichkolbens (5) durch einen an diesem vorgesehenen Anschlag und einen mit diesem zusammenwirkenden Gegenanschlag an dem die den Ausweichkolben führende Zylinderbohrung aufweisenden Teil bestimmt ist. Eine kompakte, leichte Bauweise des Ausweichkolbens (5) ohne Abdichtungsprobleme und eine Dämpfung seiner Bewegung ergibt sich dadurch, dass der Ausweichkolben (5) an seiner vom Arbeitsraum des Pumpenkolbens abgewendeten Seite in einen mit Kraftstoff versorgten, nach aussen geschlossenen Raum (6) eintaucht.
