Abstract (en)
1. Battery terminal with a) a metallic terminal body (2) in the shape of a ring having teeth (17) on its centre-facing side which are designed in one piece with the ring and whose crests (17') serving as contact surfaces form a part of a conical surface, and b) with a connecting device (9) for an electric conductor to be connected with the terminal. The battery terminal is characterized by the fact that the part of the terminal body (2) forming the ring is provided with a radial slot (7), that a tensioning device (14, 15, 16) grips in the ring ends, and that the teeth (17) arranged in the zone between the radial slot (7) and the point situated opposite the radial slot are, as compared with the radial direction, inclined in circumferential direction of the terminal body (2) toward the point situated opposite the radial slot (7).

Eine Batterieklemme mit einem Klemmenkörper in Form eines radialgeschlitzten Ringes weist auf der dem Zentrum zugekehrten Seite des Klemmenkörpers einstöckig mit ihm ausgebildete Zähne auf, deren als Kontaktfläche dienende Kopffläche einen Teil einer konischen Fläche bildet.
