[origin: EP0069817A2] 1. Process for bulk blasting, especially for selectively loosening hard, for instance rocky soil in order to make ditches or ram sheet piles, piles etc., wherein, a. the whole volume to be loosened is split into a multitude segments (6) of similar volume, wherein the width and the depth are kept constant ; b. drilled holes (2) exempt of a charge are provided in every segment, with a depth equalling the segment depth, whereby the segment length (1), the number of drilled holes (2), as well as their diameters are linked so that the total volume of the drilled holes (2) per segment equals roughly 14% of the segment volume ; c. at the beginning and at the end of each segment, as well as on the center line, there is arranged a drilled hole with blast charges (3 and 4), whereby the depth of the holes (3 and 4) equals the segment depth, and d. the blastings of the positions (3 and 4) are delayed against one another.
