Known stepping stools have parallelogram-like stepping surfaces which are swivelled into the use position. Stools of this kind are therefore very wide even in the folded state. In addition, one is easily injured when using these stools. In contrast, the aim of the invention is to provide a stool which is very narrow in the folded state and which excludes the risk of injury. This is achieved by a stool which consists of an inclined section and a support section joined thereto and articulated stepping surfaces arranged between these sections, as in a known stool, but in which the rear longitudinal spindle (4b) of the upper surface (4) is slidingly arranged as guide spindle in guide slots (2a, 2b) of the support section (2). <IMAGE>

Bekannte Tritthocker besitzen parallelogrammartig geführte Trittflächen, die in die Gebrauchslage geschwenkt werden. Solche Tritthocker sind daher auch im zusammengeklappten Zustand sehr breit. Auch verletzt man sich bei der Bedienung dieser Tritthocker leicht. Demgegenüber liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Tritthocker zu schaffen, der im zusammengeklappten Zustand sehr schmal ist, und die Verletzungsgefahr ausschließt. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird ein Tritthocker vorgeschlagen, der aus einem Steigschenkel und einem daran gelenkten Stützschenkel mit zwischen diesen Schenkeln angeordneten angelenkten Trittflächen, wie ein bekannter Tritthocker besteht, bei dem jedoch die hintere Längsachse (4b) der oberen Trittfläche (4) als Führungsachse in Führungsschlitzen (2a, 2b) des Stützschenkels (2) gleitbar angeordnet ist.
