Abstract (en)
1. Storage heater comprising a storage core (60) resting on a base (1) by means of a heat insulating means (42, 42'), heating elements (61) inserted in the storage core (60), a heat exchanger (13) connected by a deflecting cone (14) to a ventilation volute (15) of a motor fan (33-36) extracting the air through a distribution chimney (46), the ducts of the storage core (60) and a collecting chimney (47) ; the heat exchanger (13) the deflecting cone (14) the motor fan (33-36) and the ventilation volute (15) forming a closed unit (18) ; the base (1) provided with apertures for communication with the distribution chimney (46) and the collection chimney (47), characterised in that the closed unit (18) is provided with non-metallic sealing elements (23, 24, 64) preventing returns of air into the negative pressure zones in such a manner that this closed unit (18) thus made sealing-tight can be inserted without special precautions in the base (1), and in that the base (1), which is of robust construction, comprises a forebase (5) and an afterbase (9) of lighter construction which are rendered fast with the base (1) to form a casing (12) the bottom of which has over the extent of the base (1) a projection possibly constituted by an insulating element (3) in a protective container (4), on which the weight of the heater rests.

Cet appareil de chauffage par accumulation comporte un caisson (12) dans lequel se glisse un module (18) se composant d'un échangeur de chaleur (13) réuni à la volute (15) d'un moto-ventilateur (33-36) par un cône déflecteur (14). Au-dessus du caisson (12) le noyau (60) équipé d'éléments chauffants (61) est entouré d'une superstructure métallique (58) se composant d'une cheminée avant (46), d'une cheminée arrière (47) et d'un couvercle (56) assemblés entre eux par emboitement (50,51,57). Une barrière isolante (59) isole complètement la superstructure (58) et le noyau (61) du caisson (12) pour empêcher les courants de fuite engendrés par les éléments chauffants (60) d'atteindre le caisson (12).
