[origin: US4469148A] A filling apparatus for viscous products, such as those including ingredients in pieces, is proposed. In order to avoid soiling of the sealing rims of the containers, onto which a cover foil is sealed, dripping or squirting from the filler mouthpiece is to be intercepted. The apparatus has a receiving element for this purpose in the form of a scoop, which in a first position assumes a vertical position remote from the filler mouthpiece which intercepts squirting and in a second position assumes a horizontal position passing beneath the filler mouthpiece. The supporting apparatus for the scoop is embodied such that when the scoop is moved from one position into the other position, the scoop undergoes a one-quarter revolution.

Es wird eine Abfüllvorrichtung für viskose Güter, auch solche mit stückigen Einlagen, vorgeschlagen. Um das Verschmutzen der Siegelränder (2) der Behälter (1), auf die eine Deckfolie aufgesiegelt wird, zu vermeiden, sollen sich vom Füllmundstück (14) lösende Tropfen oder Spritzer aufgefangen werden. Die Vorrichtung hat dazu ein Auffangelement in Form einer Schaufel (22), die in einer ersten Stellung vom Füllmundstück entfernt eine Spritzer auffangende, senkrechte Lage und in einer zweiten Stellung eine das Füllmundstück untergreifende, waagrechte Lage einnimmt. Die Trageinrichtung (30; 41, 42) für die Schaufel ist so gestaltet, daß beim Überführen der Schaufel von der einen in die andere Lage, die Schaufel eine Vierteldrehung erfährt.
