1. Fitting for a rotatable, tiltable or rotatable and tiltable leaf of a window, a door or the like with, mounted on the leaf (2), a catch (4) which co-operates with a catch member (5) mounted on the fixed frame (1) and rotatable about an axis (10) extending substantially at a right-angle to the tilting axis of the leaf or substantially parallel with the axis of rotation of the leaf, and having a housing (23) to accommodate the catch (4), the spring-loadable catch member being pivotable optionally into an ineffective starting position or into a working position suitable for lock engagement, characterised in that the catch member (5) can in the rotary direction of closure and opening of the leaf (2), be rotationally rigidly locked with the catch (4) and fixed by means of a snap-action arresting device (17) in its two extreme positions, there being on either side of its housing (23) an approach ramp (24, 25) for the catch (4), so that a springingly-elastic engagement into a slightly opened gap is possible in the directions of rotation of both closure and opening.

Um ein energiesparendes, sich über einen längeren Zeitraum erstreckendes Be- und Entlüften eines Raums über ein Fenster oder eine Tür zu ermöglichen, wird an diesem Fenster bzw. dieser Tür ein Beschlag montiert, der im wesentlichen aus einem Rastglied (5) und einer Raste (4) besteht. Letztere wird entweder am vertikalen, schließseitigen Rahmenholm des Flügels (2) oder aber an einer Stulpschiene (8) der Flügelschließseite befestigt, während man das Rastglied (5) am gegenüberliegenden Blendrahmenholm anbringt, beispielsweise anschraubt. Das Rastglied (5) ist im Sinne des Doppelpfeils (9) schwenkbar an einem Lagerbock (11, 12) gelagert und kann mit Hilfe einer schnepperartigen Arretierungsvorrichtung (17) wahlweise eine Ausgangsstellung oder eine Arbeitsstellung einnehmen.
