A plastic bag (1) for packaging frozen food is provided in the region of the filling opening (5) with a closure strip (4) consisting of a foldable, but dimensionally stable material. Ein Kunststoffbeutel (1) zum Verpacken von Tiefkühlkost ist im Bereich der Einfüllöffnung (5) mit einem Verschlußstreifen (4) auf einem faltbaren, aber formstabilen Material versehen. Der vorzugsweise aus einer Aluminiumfolie bestehende Verschlußstreifen (4) kann sich über eine oder über beide Beutelwandungen erstrecken. Das Verschließen des Beutels (1) erfolgt durch ein- oder mehrmaliges Umfalten des Verschlußstreifens (4).
